Who’s ready to #GetKind with us in DC? From Friday, April 1st to Sunday, April 3rd, Random Acts staffers Kelly, Sam, and Juliana will be hosting a donation collection drive for Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation (LDCRF) at Creation Entertainment’s Official Supernatural Convention – Washington, DC convention (#DCcon).
What is LDCRF?
LDCRF is a local nonprofit organization that rescues dogs and cats from euthanasia in overcrowded shelters or other at-risk situations and places them into adoptive homes. They run adoption events every weekend and, before putting an animal up for adoption, they ensure it is spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccines and routine tests. While some dogs and cats under their care live in foster homes while waiting to be adopted, most live at the 61-acre Lost Dog & Cat Ranch in Sumerduck, Virginia. Every year, LDCRF places approximately 2,000 dogs and cats into loving homes.
