Jaci Hays is the Chief Operating Officer of FaZe Clan, the world’s largest gaming and esports organization. Her role is to nurture the next generation of gamers, with a major focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. As part of her work with FaZe Clan, Hays founded the FaZe Academy to help train young gamers and influencers. Hays is passionate about harnessing the power of social media by tailoring content for specific audiences and platforms. Hays explained that her philosophy towards social media is to “…Use it for good if we can, and if there’s more people using it for good, that’s helpful.”
Hays became involved with Random Acts for many reasons, telling us, “I love the name, I love the cause, I love the people behind it, I love what Random Acts does for the world at large.” Her goal for Random Acts is to retain the passion and closeness of its all-volunteer team while expanding its impact, noting that the organization should “act small, be big in influence.”
