JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organized and energetic individual to join our team as a Team Building Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a wide range of activities and events to enhance volunteer engagement and promote a positive and inclusive work environment. The Team Building Coordinator will play a crucial role in fostering a sense of community and building strong relationships among volunteers. By organizing and managing a variety of activities and virtual events, this position plays a vital role in fostering team building, boosting morale, and enhancing overall job satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a comprehensive volunteer activities program, including social events, team-building activities, educational workshops, and wellness initiatives.
- Plan and organize regular company-wide events such as holiday parties, volunteer recognition ceremonies, and milestone celebrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and support department-specific activities and initiatives.
- Research and identify external vendors and resources to provide additional activities and services for volunteers.
- Manage the logistics and coordination of all volunteer activities, including securing venues, arranging transportation, coordinating catering, and managing event timelines.
- Create and distribute communication materials to promote upcoming activities and events.
- Maintain accurate records and budgets related to volunteer activities, including tracking expenditures and managing expenses within budgetary constraints.
- Collect feedback and evaluate the success of volunteer activities through surveys, metrics, and volunteer feedback, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Serve as a point of contact for volunteers, addressing inquiries, and providing assistance related to volunteer activities.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in volunteer engagement and activity planning, and proactively incorporate new ideas and initiatives into the program.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.

- Ability to build positive and professional relationships with volunteers, external vendors, and stakeholders.
- Proficient in using event management software and tools to streamline event planning and coordination.
- Knowledge of volunteer engagement strategies and best practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet changing needs.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in event planning, preferably in a corporate or volunteer engagement context.
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage resources effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
