The Random Acts Natural Disaster Recovery Fund was first established in response to the wildfires in Maui in 2023. This fund provides direct aid to facilitate support for those impacted by natural and climate change-induced disasters, allowing us to respond when a crisis strikes.
100% of funds donated to the Natural Disaster Recovery Fund will go directly to disaster relief response by supporting individual acts for people in communities affected by natural disasters. These funds will be specifically utilized to empower Random Acts supporters to complete acts of kindness for those who live in communities affected by natural disasters.
Random Acts History of Disaster Relief Efforts Around the World
Over the years, Random Acts supporters and volunteers have responded to events such as Hurricane Ian in Florida, earthquakes in Puerto Rico, severe floods across Germany and Belgium, and earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
When natural disasters strike, Random Acts supporters want to be able to jump into action and lend a hand where help is needed most, so we’re calling on you to help support the Random Acts Natural Disaster Recovery Fund.
How Are The Funds Used
“In an era where massive climate change-induced catastrophes are becoming commonplace events,” said Misha Collins, President of Random Acts, “it’s critical that we are able to respond swiftly to help when disasters strike.”
“The Natural Disaster Recovery fund will not only allow Random Acts to support the needs of victims of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, but will also empower Random Acts supporters to help people impacted by future natural disasters all over the world.“
